  1. Municipally supplied chlorinated water only.
  2. Water should contain not less than 2 mg / L iron and 200 mg / L TDS.
  3. This model has no backwash flow control button or retainer. Must have a minimum of flow rate of 26.5 L / min at pressure of at least 2 atm.
  4. Calcite for pH normalization will add additional hardness to water before softening.
  5. Rate of flow must be verified at the end of 1/2" I.D. drain line.
  6. Any hardness over 3.5 mg/L will increase the chance of calcium carbonate precipitation. As the hardness increases so does the chance of this precipitation. Must use citric acid to regenerate along with salt.
